What are the differences between "type 1", "type 2" and "type 3" in the deluxe seats or the designer style seat covers ?

Any differences are purely aesthetic. There is no difference in the comfort level.

To find out more about the aesthetic differences, please refer to the detailed descriptions of each seat type given below.

Can you tell me more about the "Type 1 deluxe seat"?

Totally modified foam that integrates - except for certain rare sports models - a backrest between the driver's and passenger seats.
The basic price applies to:

• a seat made entirely in black SEL003
• with edging in a material of your choice and a 3 cm stitching line that matches the edging material
• With or without embroidered inscription on the backrest in a color of your choice (embroidered logo if the text is part of the motorcycle name and if authorized by the brand, or in a font of your choice for all other texts)

A one-off flat rate supplement will be applied to all of the following personalization combinations that may be added to the basic version:

• one or more parts in materials other than the SEL003
• any shape other than "standard"
• designs on seats*

Flat rate supplements for the "gel" and "seat heater" options.

(*) The flame motif is not compatible with the 3 cm stitching line. Top Sellerie adjusts the flame motif to fit the configuration of each seat.

Can you tell me more about the "Type 2 deluxe seat"?

Totally modified foam that integrates - except for certain rare sports models - a backrest between the driver's and passenger seats.
The basic price applies to:

• a seat made entirely in black SEL003
• with the option of choosing another material that is common to the U-shaped strips and edgings

Inscriptions on backrests are not available.

A one-off flat rate supplement will be applied to all of the following personalization combinations that may be added to the basic version:

• one or more parts in materials other than the SEL003
• any shape other than "standard"
• designs on seats

Flat rate supplements for the "gel" and "seat heater" options.

Can you tell me more about the "Type 3 deluxe seat"?

The characteristics are identical to those of the Type 1 Deluxe seat, apart from the fact that the rear seat is made up of just a single part in order to resemble a pillion cowl seat, and therefore a one-person seat.

For the basic price, the rear seat can be made in a material of your choice.

Can you tell me more about the "Type 1 designer style seat cover"?

The basic price applies to:

• a cover made entirely in black SEL003
• with a front strip and edging in a common material of your choice and a 3 cm stitching line that matches the edging

A one-off flat rate supplement will be applied to all of the following personalization combinations that may be added to the basic version:

• one or more parts in materials other than the SEL003
• designs on seats.
• inscriptions; with most models, the inscription is embroidered at the front end of the rear seat in a color of your choice. Embroidered logo if the text is part of the motorcycle name and if authorized by the brand, or in a font of your choice for other texts.

Flat rate supplements for:

• "gel" option
• "seat heater" option
• "lowered" or "raised" shapes.

These three options require us to work on the foam of the base; therefore, it is not possible for you to buy the cover alone and staple it on by yourself. On top of the additional charges for any of the above three options, another flat rate supplement may be charged for the stapling of the cover onto the base after the application of softening and waterproofing treatments to the foam.

Can you tell me more about the "Type 2 designer style seat cover"?

The basic price applies to:

• a cover made entirely in black SEL003
• with the front strip, U-shaped strips and edging in a common material of your choice.

A one-off flat rate supplement will be applied to all of the following personalization combinations that may be added to the basic version:

• one or more parts in materials other than the SEL003
• designs on seats.

Embroidered inscriptions are not available.

Flat rate supplements for:

• "gel" option
• "seat heater" option
• "lowered" or "raised" shapes.

All of these three options require us to rework the foam of the base; therefore, it is not possible for you to buy the cover alone and staple it on by yourself. Can you tell me more about the "Simple seat cover"?

The basic price applies to a cover made entirely in black SEL047.

Flat rate supplement for any other material of your choice.

I ordered a cover alone; must I remove my old seat cover before stapling the new one on?

Yes, of course. Your new cover is meant to replace the old one; therefore, you must remove the latter before stapling on the new cover.

Installation instructions are delivered with the covers that we commercialize; we do not pre-assemble our covers so as to allow you to staple in the right order and in such a way that guarantees the proper tensioning of your new cover.
